City of Laurel is Seeking Volunteers for the Fourth of July Parade Team

Dear Residents of City of Laurel & Surrounding Area

As we gear up for another exciting Fourth of July celebration in our wonderful city, I am reaching out to you, our esteemed residents, with an invitation to join us in making this year's parade truly memorable.

The Fourth of July parade is a cherished tradition in our community, bringing together families, friends, and neighbors to celebrate our nation's independence in grand style. It's a time when our streets come alive with colorful floats, marching bands, and enthusiastic participants, all united in the spirit of patriotism and community pride.

To ensure the success of this year's parade, we are seeking volunteers who are willing to lend their time, energy, and creativity to help organize and coordinate various aspects of the event. Whether you have experience in event planning, logistics, or simply a passion for bringing people together, there's a place for you in our Fourth of July parade team.

 Volunteer opportunities include:

 - Float design and construction

- Parade route coordination and logistics

- Volunteer recruitment and coordination

- Publicity and promotion

- Traffic control and safety

Your involvement will not only contribute to the success of the parade but also foster a sense of camaraderie and community spirit that defines our city.

If you're interested in volunteering for the Fourth of July parade, please contact Carreen Koubek at 301 725-5300 ext. 2109 or ckoubek@laurel.md.us. Your commitment, no matter how big or small, will make a difference.

Let's come together once again to celebrate our nation's birthday in true City of Laurel style!

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our community.

Warm regards,

 Keith R.  Sydnor

City of Laurel, MD
