(December 29, 2025) WSSC Water will be conducting a shutdown near 7607 Sandy Spring Rd to repair a water main. The shutdown will be done on Monday, December 29th, 2025, from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm.
The Backup Shutdown in case of rain/delays will be done on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025, from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm.
As a result of this work, residents and businesses will experience low water pressure or a loss of water service.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Sandy Spring Road access will be maintained for local traffic and emergency services in both directions.
- Lane Closures. Safety cones will be in place to keep the work zone safe. Flaggers and/or road closure may be needed.
