(October 21, 2025) – Mayor Keith R. Sydnor has officially declared Thursday, October 30, 2025, as Trick or Treat Night in the City of Laurel.
The annual Trick or Treat on Main Street will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Children and families are invited to visit participating businesses along Main Street for treats and Halloween fun. To ensure everyone’s safety, Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic during this time. Attendees should plan alternate routes and parking in advance.
In addition to Main Street festivities, residents are encouraged to enjoy safe trick-or-treating throughout Laurel’s neighborhoods. To keep the evening safe and enjoyable for all, please remember to:
- Wear reflective clothing or glow sticks to stay visible.
- Carry flashlights and stay alert to traffic.
- Young children should always be accompanied by an adult.
- Older children should travel in groups and follow familiar routes.
- Visit only well-lit homes and never enter a stranger’s residence.
- Motorists should be extra cautious and drive slowly through residential areas.
