As of August 12, 2025, the City of Laurel Board of Election Supervisors has certified the following candidates for the 2025 City of Laurel General Election:
At-Large Council Seat — Christine M. Johnson and Brencis D. Smith; City Council, Ward 1 — James Kole and Adrian G. Simmons; City Council, Ward 2 — Kyla M. Clark and Jeffrey W. Mills. One additional filing is pending certification by the Board.
The City of Laurel General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, with polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Early voting will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at both polling locations.
Voters must cast their ballots at the polling place assigned to their ward:
• Ward 1: Joseph R. Robison Laurel Municipal Center, 8103 Sandy Spring Road, Laurel, MD 20707
• Ward 2: Robert J. DiPietro Community Center, 7901 Cypress Street, Laurel, MD 20707
