Laurel, MD – [June 5, 2024] As summer approaches, it is imperative that we work together to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all members of our community. Mayor Keith R. Sydnor is encouraging volunteer organizations to step forward and host the Safe Summer Nights Program.
This initiative is vital for providing safe spaces where our youth and families can engage in positive activities during the summer evenings. Offering recreational activities, educational workshops, and community-building events creates a vibrant and secure atmosphere that benefits everyone.
