(September 25, 2025) - The City of Laurel Board of Election Supervisors is currently seeking qualified residents to serve as Election Judges for both Early Voting and Election Day in the upcoming 2025 City of Laurel General Election.
Election Judges play a critical role in ensuring a fair and efficient election process. Those interested must be registered voters residing within the incorporated City limits of Laurel and available to work the entire day during their assigned shift.
Early Voting - Saturday, November 1, 2025
Polling Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Judges must report by 8:00 AM)
Locations:
- Ward 1 - Joseph R. Robison Laurel Municipal Center – 8103 Sandy Spring Road
- Ward 2 - Robert J. DiPietro Community Center – 7901 Cypress Street
Compensation - $200
Election Day - Tuesday, November 4, 2025
Polling Hours: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Judges must report by 6:00 AM)
Locations:
- Ward 1 - Joseph R. Robison Laurel Municipal Center – 8103 Sandy Spring Road
- Ward 2 - Robert J. DiPietro Community Center – 7901 Cypress Street
Compensation- $300
Please note:
Election Judges must remain at the polling location for the entire duration of their assigned shift.
Those unable to commit to a full day should not apply. Judges will be compensated approximately 2–3 weeks following the election.
Mandatory Training/Orientation & Oath of Office - Friday, October 31, 2025
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Oath Administered by: Mayor Keith R. Sydnor at 3:00 PM
