Laurel, MD – [July 17, 2024] The City of Laurel, Department of Public Works, is adjusting trash, recycling, and compost collection times to ensure the safety and well-being of our Public Works employees due to the recent high temperatures and high humidity.
Effective July 26, 2024, through September 2, 2024, collection services will begin at 6:00 AM.
DPW is kindly requesting that residents have their trash, recycling, and compost containers placed at the curb by 6:00 AM to ensure timely and efficient collection. The Department of Public Works thanks the residents for their understanding during this difficult working environment.
