Sandra Price (She/Her/Hers)
With over 25 years of nonprofit management experience, Ms. Price has held senior management and administrative support positions. She has provided technical assistance to community programs, such as family support groups and outreach initiatives, and administered scholarship programs for youth with disabilities.
In her role as Programs Operations Manager for the Laurel Multiservice Center (LMSC), under the leadership of Marchelle LeBlanc, Director, Department of Human Services, she is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Center (including but not limited to providing resources for visitors and staff, budget management, purchasing, community engagement via resources fairs and other events, grant and statistical reporting, managing the Maryland Opioid Response Program site and the internationally-acclaimed Getting Ahead Program, supporting the LMSC Partners, and supervision of all LMSC Auxiliary staff (security guards and front desk attendants) and the Assistant Programs Operations Manager.
Ms. Price is a dynamic and integral part of her community. She is a professional speaker and trainer, a mentor to women and girls, and an entrepreneur. Her commitment to serving marginalized populations is evident in her extensive volunteer work with organizations like the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Building Families for Children, Animal Advocates of Howard County, House of Ruth Maryland, Girl Scouts of the National Capital Area, and the African Art Museum of Maryland.
Academically, Ms. Price studied Business Administration at Howard Community College and completed the Towson University Project Management Professional Program. Her professional background is robust, encompassing program management and evaluation, quality assurance, meeting and trade show planning, technology business analysis, grant writing and fundraising, and developing and conducting in-person and web-based training.
