Friday June 21st - Spanglish American Band
Spanglish American Band brings the heat and repertoire of music featuring a fusion of Latin and American rhythms. Their performances include American Jazz standards, Bossanova, Salsa, Samba, Bachata, Cumbia, Latin, Jazz, and many popular English music standards that have been originally remixed with bilingual lyrics and tropical rhythms.
Friday August 9th - DuPont Brass
DuPont Bras is a one-of-a-kind, brass driven supergroup from the DC Metropolitan Area. Their 9-piece ensemble consisting of brass, a rhythm section, and vocalists, has had the opportunity to perform in conjunction with the DC Jazz Festival, The Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, and more. Through their training in classical and contemporary styles, DuPont Brass has developed a sound they've coined "Eclectic Soul" that mixes varied genres of music, including jazz, hip hop, and R&B. Filled with a diverse arsenal of musical styles, they present a catalog made with every kind of listener in mind.
