This will be the City of Laurel's 17th year participating in this statewide event coordinated by the Patuxent Riverkeepers. The City will be one of many agencies hosting clean ups along the Patuxent River.
The staging area will be at Riverfront Park (22 Avondale Street) in the picnic area, beginning at 10am. Volunteers will be asked to assist in removing trash and debris from the shoreline and surrounding park along the Patuxent River, which will help reduce debris that makes its way into the river and impedes the river flow during rain events.
