City/Passport Offices CLOSED Monday, January 19th, In Observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.
The City of Laurel will be closed on Monday, January 19th, in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. We will have an adjusted Trash, Recycling and Composting schedule that week:
Monday collections move to Tuesday, January 20th.
Tuesday Collections move to Wednesday, January 21st.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday collections are unchanged.
There will be no bulky item or yard debris collection this week. The next scheduled bulky item and yard debris collection will be on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

Although we will be closed, the City will host its Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service event at the Laurel Multiservice Center, 204 Fort Meade Road, from 10am - 2pm. There will be a program from 10 - 11am, honoring Dr. King, followed by assembly of care packages for local seniors at Morningside House. Please join us for a "Day On, Not a Day Off."
